And as there is always some hard climbing going on, the lesser Gods also enjoy a great climbing session. Last weekend we celebrated both my and Lisette’s anniversary at the bouldering mecca Fontainebleau. Friday the 13th, in a treehouse in the dark woods, under a starry sky, lovely girl, champagne and pumpin’ industrial! And knowing that the next days would be sunny and freezing cold. Time to climb! After three months of muddling, the climbing spirit is somehow coming back. I can hardly understand that I have ever stopped climbing. So good to stick the rock. It will probably still take some while before I can kill my long lasting projects, but it’s in my blood and brain and I can not resist trying hard problems. Yeah! Now back at home and hitting the gym again. Hopefully to crank harder in the near future… :-S
I discovered that one of my favorite (music) film directors, Yoann Lemoine (the superb Irons Woodkid) made the new video of Lana Del Rey. And guess what, it has been shot at Fontainebleau!
Beautiful! How beautiful you are! We went back to Bleau last weekend and God how I missed the magical forest! Of course we had some drizzle and our climbing level was even below every prospect LOL. But the sun came up and we had a great time repeating old favorites. Time to climb (again)!
I haven’t been to Fontainebleau for ages! After almost two years of complete silence I started climbing again some weeks ago. The last time that I went climbing was januari 2010. Back then I climbed some 7C’s. Auw! Next weekend Bleau revisited. Here are some pics of the last 2010 trip:
